No Limits Cafe hosts book signing in support of sports for all
The event marks the first of its kind for the famous cafe with a cause.
MIDDLETOWN - No Limits Cafe, the popular restaurant that gives folks with intellectual disabilities meaningful and gainful employment, is hosting its very first book signing tomorrow, August 8th, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM.
No limits will be hosting Tony Vlahovic, the author of “Just Need an Opportunity: Let’s Play Ball.” Tony is the Chairman of Baseball Development for Special Olympics North America. Half of the proceeds from this book go to BaseABLE, an organization with a mission to provide and encourage an inclusive environment for individuals with mental or physical disabilities to play baseball.
Started by Mark and Stephanie Cartier, No Limits Cafe offers delicious food while serving an impactful mission: giving folks with intellectual disabilities jobs and community. Tuesday’s book signing is an extension of that mission started in honor of their daughter Katie.
CJN shared its experience with No Limit’s food truck and their delicious Ameri-Ken Hero last month. The unforgettable taste is rivaled only by their incredible mission.
