Adam Hamawy worked for Omar Abdel-Rahman, the notorious Blind Sheikh, the mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and testified for the defense at his trial. Hamawy also donated his time to an organization shut down by Homeland Security for providing logistical support to Al-Qaids.
So at the 25th anniversary of 9/11, New Jersey will be sending an associate of the people responsible for the largest terror attack on US soil to Washington as one of its 14 delegates to the US Congress.
