RWJ Barnabas, Monmouth leaders break ground in Tinton Falls for state-of-the-art medical campus
“Breaking ground on groundbreaking care” is what Monmouth Medical Center is calling it.
Monmouth Medical and RWJ Barnabas trustees joined Monmouth County leaders at the former Fort Monmouth Myer Center to break ground on a state-of-the-art outpatient care center nearly one year after its plans were unveiled.
The Vogel Medical Campus is the first step in a plan to further expand in Monmouth County and deliver access to physician offices as well as surgical and imaging services. Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, will team with the campus to provide comprehensive cancer care.
“We’re breaking ground on groundbreaking care,” said Monmouth Medical center on its official Facebook page. “Thank you to all our employees, community members, donors and partners who are helping us bring world-class care close to home across Monmouth County.”
Breaking ground were Monmouth County Commissioners Ross Licitra and Sue Kiley, Commissioner Director Tom Arnone, Monmouth County Clerk Christine Hanlon, and Sheriff Shaun Golden.
The Vogel Medical Campus plans to open in 2025.
