Spadea tweet uses Trump assassination to boost campaign
The radio host hopes you didn't catch it.
Far-right NJ101.5 radio host and gubernatorial candidate Bill Spadea tweeted support for President Trump after an assassination attempt was made on the 45th President at a rally in Pennsylvania.
While he and his wife Jodi were praying for President Trump, he declared 2025 a “must-win.” Trump is running for the presidency in 2024 while Spadea is working to be elected to the New Jersey’s governorship…in 2025
While it is typical for campaigns to use current events for fundraising or for a case to go viral, decent human beings generally stop when an assassination attempt in made. Spadea issued a corrected tweet one minute later, but the knee-jerk reaction for Spadea to make something about himself has become his usual style.
Spadea has frequently used New Jersey’s parental rights movement both for fame and financial gain (and funneling money to criminal consultants). He also frequently abused President Trump on the radio before heading to Mar-A-Lago and duping the President’s team. He also fabricated a lie about makes mandates returning to Rutgers University and attempted to fundraise off the falsehood.
President Trump is reported to be safe after a bullet seemed to graze his ear. Fellow GOP candidate for Governor and frontrunner Jack Ciattarelli requested prayers for the the President, demanding “all those responsible should be held accountable to the full extent of the law. We are better than this.”
Former Senator Ed Durr retweeted Donald Trump Jr., saying “We will never stop fighting for @realDonaldTrump!”
While national Democrats have remained silent, even Gov. Phil Murphy, in a rare moment of decency and in stark contrast from Spadea, paused to pray for Trump via X.

Spadea is much better for NJ- I am so sick of the attacks on this man. President Trump likes him as demonstrated in Wildwood. His tweet said to pray for President Trump, what is wrong with that?! I heard him speak and what he plans to do for NJ. I STAND WITH SPADEA!!!
