WATCH: Spadea eats words, says Trump "failed"
A controversial video of the NJ101.5 host resurfaced in the wake of President Trump's historic victory.
NJ101.5 HQ - A 2022 video of long-shot gubernatorial candidate Bill Spadea has resurfaced where the radio host unloads on the President-elect Trump, listing what he believes to be failures of his previous administration.
President Trump secured a milestone victory last Tuesday, winning the Electoral College, popular vote, all swing states, and even turning the once hyper-democrat Garden State into a potential swing state. As Senate republicans caucus to select the new majority leader for the incoming Trump administration, many Americans have been holding Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Jon Thune (R-South Dakota) to account for their past criticisms of Trump.
Meanwhile, New Jersey republican voters are beginning to do the same with their gubernatorial candidates for 2025.
In New Jersey, Jack Ciattarelli became the first gubernatorial candidate to endorse Trump in 2024 while liberal Republican Sen. Jon Bramnick told Politico that he would exit the 2025 gubernatorial race if Trump won the White House.
Both Bramnick and Spadea have not publicly addressed their change of heart in light of a Trump victory. Spadea also brought scandal with him on a trip to Mar-a-Lago where insiders reported that his comments slamming the President were not well received.
