BREAKING: Brookdale's Drag Queen Story Hour CANCELLED
Monmouth leaders respond swiftly to cancel the controversial event
Lincroft - Monmouth County leaders responded swiftly to CJN’s report of a Drag Queen Story hour being hosted as part of Brookdale Community College’s Bring Your Child to Work Day.
CJN broke the story at 4:40 PM EST today. About an hour later, CJN was notified that the college’s President David Stout had cancelled the vent.
”This wasn’t an appropriate activity for children. Certainly not one sponsored by Monmouth County’s community college,” said Monmouth County Senator Declan O’Scanlon (R-13th) in a statement to CJN. ”As soon as they were notified about the event, Monmouth leaders took the appropriate action and called it off. I much appreciate their responsiveness.”
Monmouth leaders responsible for the swift cancellation as mentioned by multiple sources include Sen. O’Scanlon, Assemblymembers Vicky Flynn and Gerry Scharfenberger, and Monmouth County Commissioner Director Tom Arnone.
Brookdale will proceed with it’s standard agenda for the day.

Ridiculous! Afraid of men in drag reading to children. Teach children tolerance and differences.
Who scheduled the event to begin with? Do they still have a job?
